Cayenne Fruit

Cayenne fruit is long (3-8 inches) and slender (1/2-1 inch wide). They taper to pointed tips and curve slightly. The immature pods are green maturing to scarlet. They are normally harvested at the red stage.

It is moderately hot ranging from 30,000-50,000 Scoville Heat Units.
