Florida Ground Orchids

Is there an orchid that can be planted outside in the Tallahassee FL area (8b zone), that also prefers heavy shade?

Thank you!

Plant Guide

There are several hardy orchids that can be grown outdoors in zone 8.

Two that I know will tolerate shade are Bletilla striata, the Chinese ground orchid and Cypripedium acaule, the Pink Lady Slipper orchid.

I don't know how well they will bloom in deep shade but the high, dappled shade that you get under trees will suit them just fine.
