Growing Figs - When Will They Fruit

At what age does a fig tree have fruit?

Plant Guides Answer:

I have had fig cuttings produce fruit when they were about a foot and a half tall. Generally, once a fig plant forms a root system and has enough top growth for fruit to grow on it, it can begin to bear.

I say CAN not WILL.

Sometimes figs will fail to bear even though they are big enough and old enough to do so. Usually, this is due to disfavorable growing conditions or improper feeding.

Growing Fig Trees That Fruit will provide more information.

You didn't mention which fig varieties you are growing so I'll give links to pages about several types of fig trees.
