Pink Lemonade Lemon Tree

I want to buy a pink lemonade lemon tree. I've never grown one before. Is there anything I should know about this tree before I purchase it?

The Pink Lemonade Tree, sometimes called variegated lemon tree is a variety of Eureka lemon (Citrus limon).

It is grown for its interesting cream-edged green leaves and its bumpy fruit. The ripe fruit is yellow on the outside but pink on the inside.

I had one of these trees growing in a pot for several years. It did well until I decided to put it in the ground. I lost it because I forgot to water it during a dry spell.

The Pink Lemonade lemon will not produce as much fruit as other varieties. It's more of an ornamental lemon. The fruit is also drier than other lemons. The taste is good and tart. I can vouch for the fact that it makes a great lemonade!

This tree does not require any special care. Treat it like you would any other lemon tree. The following article may be of help with this.
