Planting Peach Pits

by cassandra
(ohio)

I am trying to plant 3 peach seeds from 3 different ways and I want to know if I have to keep them away from the sun.

Plant Guides Answer:

No, just keep them moist until they sprout. If you've planted the pits in pots, keeping the pots shaded may keep them from drying out so quickly, but the pits do not have to be planted in the shade.

They will sprout either way.
