Ylang Ylang Tree Flower Problem

My Ylang Ylang currently has about 15 large blooms; however, they don't seem to be turning yellow. What's wrong?

Botanical Journeys Plant Guides

Ylang Ylang flowers start life as green buds. Cananga odorata blooms are a pale lime green when they first open. They turn the deep rich yellow you see in most pictures of the tree as they mature.

At maturity, the twisted, drooping flower petals may be as much as 6 inches long.

If your blossoms have not turned yellow yet, it is probably because they are just not old enough. Give them a few more days.
