Yucca Cold Tolerance

by Maureen
(Essex U.K.)

Can a household yucca survive outside in the British climate?

Botanical Journeys Plant Guides Answer:

Probably.

There are many different Yucca species. Most are cold hardy enough to tolerate 22 degrees of frost.

As long as the winter temps in Essex do not fall below -12 degrees C. or 10 degrees F., your yucca plant should do fine in the open ground.

Yucca Plant Care is about the care of outdoor yucca trees.
